What is the difference between a mentor and a coach?
Distinguishing Between Mentorship and Coaching: Expertise in Field vs. Expertise in Coaching
This is our most FAQ. A mentor, based on their own relevant experience, will guide and advise you, to help you make great decisions. In this partnership you get to ask a lot of questions but don't necessarily need to do too much thinking. In a coaching partnership however, your coach, needing no experience in your field, will ask you questions in the knowledge that you have the answers in your head but haven't learned how to access them. In short, a mentor will be an expert in your field while a coach will be an expert in the field of coaching.
